Manheim Township is located in the southwestern section of York County, Pennsylvania. Regionally, the community is located in close proximity to major cities on the east coast, providing access to Interstate 83, Hanover, York, and Baltimore.

Manheim Township has recently subscribed to Savvy Citizen, a notification system which allows municipalities to easily and effectively communicate with their residents via push notifications, text messages or e-mails. Savvy Citizen is more than a notification system as it allows to keep residents up to date on community events, helpful information, road closures, alerts and much more.
